The distinctive trills of the Woodland Kingfisher is a standard feature of summer birding in the Kruger National Park. Few days will pass without this one being checked on the birding list, but it never becomes too often or too frequent to hear its call and see the vibrant turquoise of its feathers. A cool favourite of being in the bush.
This is a magnificent photograph!
