The Broad white bar on the rump and low ranging flight are distinguishing characteristics of Black Harriers. They are found in the WCNP and have also been seen hunting above Atlantic drive in Yzerfontein.
Juvenile Black Harrier in a similar low flying hunting mode. They are in danger of being killed by trucks when they cross the R27 because of this low flying pattern.
