Cape Sugarbirds have similar nectar sources as sunbirds, but their much larger size and aggressive attitude leave no doubt as to who gets to feed first. Yzerfontein is blessed with many cultivated aloe species as well as nectar producing Strandveld bushes such as the Brown Sage. Perfect feeding grounds for these majestic birds.
