Spotted Eagle-owl 401 Gevlekte Ooruil

Spotted Eagle-owl are most frequently seen at sunset driving down the R315 into Yzerfontein. They create silhouettes against the sunset when they sit on the poles along the roadside. Their upright ‘ears’ are the sign that an Eagle-owl has just been spotted.
