I went out to watch David surf and capture some shots of him, but the sea was calm, he drifted off and my attention was grabbed by my immediate surroundings.

How beautiful is a splash of water over the hard surface of a rock. How amazing for us that we can still the frenzy and look at the beauty over and over again. Our adaptability as humans never cease to amaze me. The beauty of nature is a gift of abundance devoid of resentment. As is the rushing water, I am stilled.

One of my favourite aspects to photographing the sea regularly, is tid up into how I get to gain access to the full range of colour that the see may produce. Seascapes are about mood and moodiness, some soothing, and others very threatening in tossing about the full might of an alien force that landlubbers may enjoy but seldom enter into with out apprehension.
