I love the idea of living amongst pretty colours and beautiful flowers, but I envy this Egret’s ability to deal efficiently with the sting of the more dangerous creatures – and, even more, I crave the bird’s ability to turn it into nourishment.
I went out to watch David surf and capture some shots of him, but the sea was calm, he drifted off and my attention was grabbed by my immediate surroundings.
How beautiful is a splash of water over the hard surface of a rock. How amazing for us that we can still the frenzy and look at the beauty over and over again. Our adaptability as humans never cease to amaze me. The beauty of nature is a gift of abundance devoid of resentment. As is the rushing water, I am stilled.
